Marat Tugolbaevich Pirnazarov was born on October 19, 1980. He is married and has five children.
Education:
- In 2001, he graduated from the Higher School of Economics and Business at the International University of Kyrgyzstan with a degree in International Economic Relations.
- In 2003, he completed his education at the same institution, earning a degree in Banking.
Career:
- From May 3, 2023 to the present – Chairman of the of the State Financial Supervision Authority under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- From April 2021 to May 3, 2023, he serves as the Deputy Chairman of the State Financial Supervision Authority under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- From 2020 to 2021, he was the Director of the state institution “Unaa”.
- From 2018 to 2019, he served as an Assistant and then as an Advisor to the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- In 2018, he was an expert in the Economic and Fiscal Policy Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh.
- From 2012 to 2017, he was the Deputy Chairman of the State Financial Supervision Authority under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- From 2015 to 2017, he was a member of the Consultative Committee on Financial Markets of the Eurasian Economic Commission EEC.
- From 2010 to 2017, he was a member of the Council of Heads of Securities Market Regulators of the CIS countries.
- From 2010 to 2012, he was a member of the Executive Council of the State Financial Supervision Authority under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- From 2008 to 2010, he was the General Director of CJSC “Kazyna Capital”.
- In 2008, he was the Head of the Department of Capital Market Development and Corporate Governance at the State Financial Supervision Authority under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- In 2006, he was the Head of the Department of Registration, Reporting, and Analysis of the Securities Market at the State Service for Supervision and Regulation of the Financial Market under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- From 2002 to 2006, he was the Chief Inspector at the Securities Market Supervision Department of the State Commission on the Securities Market (Goskomtsenbumag) under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- From 1999 to 2002, he was a senior specialist in the Development Department (Monitoring and Research) of the Capital Markets and Collective Investment Institutions at the National Commission on the Securities Market under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
